Annie – it is Holford who argues that he has scientific proof for his recommendations. If you were to look round this blog – you would learn that there are many times that this proof doesn’t exist, or he literally gets the sums wrong.

Do you want to take your advice from somebody like that? Fine – your money, your health. But, should that person influence public policy or research agenda – I would say, “Absolutely not”.

If a smiling face on GMTV tells us to take a pill we should.

That’s not really very empowering is it?

What’s so wrong with asking honest questions about ourselves and the world. Don’t you think there’s something worthwhile in that.

Don’t you think there’s at least *some* interest in asking whether a pill *really* works or whether it’s just the power of our own minds making us believe it has an effect.

The proof is in the pudding. Why cant folk out there listen to their own bodies without having to always have scientific proof. We are all unique and all respond in different ways.

hi there, i have an off topic question. a while back you posted in the WP forums asking how to import posts to wordpress from a blogger FTP blog. you said you figured it out (and it looks like you did) but I am having the same problems you are and would LOVE to know how you managed it. thanks!
