I can’t help thinking that Jeni Barnett has grown a sense of entitlement. She mouths off on her own show where she can control everything and is then surprised on the one occasion when it comes back to bite her. She then throws up her hands in distress and declares herself distraught and bullied.

Like commenters before, it doesn’t go well with her story about growing up in a rough area that she is so emotionally fragile.

For a tough East-Ender who grew up fighting with rats and mice for scraps of food she does seem remarkably sensitive... She does, of course, need to be reminded, politely, why she is wrong and why she must issue a retraction and an apology to Yasmin.

I’ll keep on trying to get a rational response out of the old girl, but I’m not holding my breath.

She still doesn't understand why so many people are irritated with her and her actions - she does, of course, persist in perceiving this as bullying....

I’m sorry, I just can’t seem to leave this alone. The Barmy Barnett is a bit like one those bits of chewed meat that gets stuck between your teeth at barbecue – you can’t help going back to it and giving it a poke until you can get home and floss.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to get an entry published on her blog ever since she had the last lot deleted. I finally succeeded on Thursday 18th February at about 16:40, I got the first post on a thread called “Brits and Me”…

By the way, has anybody else noticed that Jeni Barnett is a patron of a school which specialises in children with autism and other disorders?

Don’t recall the “professional broadcaster” mentioning that at any point, I wonder what their position is on her barmy notions.
