Of course eating healthily and being nice to kids is a good thing. Why should we need bad science in order to do this, though? And why does this mean taking a wide range of pills without good evidence that they'll work?

There are all kinds of advantages to healthy lifestyles and to being nice to one another. However, I fail to see how poor quality articles on non-evidence-based medical treatments help us towards these goals.

I see that the 97% has found their way to this sight, somehow. Ah, yes, let's type in some rude comments and feel that wisdom must not unfold at even the beginning of this new found information for others to expand upon. Yes, much better that you sit and be mean to others to somehow feel better or smarter than another as opposed to actually seeing if it can be improved. How dare you feel as if you actually contributed something to mankind through mean and controlling comments towards someone just out to actually attempt to help..in a new and interesting way! Is eating healthy, being nice to your kids, and settiing goals for improvement really snake-oil?

There is definitely something wrong with 97% of the replies I see posted on here. The idea behind the brain imaging is to actually give people a little insight as to what is actually going on in there, and to give people more than just "blind faith" to hope for a better tomorrow.
I don't see many posts on here knocking the multi-billion dollar so called "psychiatry" industry which is so much worse off than any one chapter in Dr. Amen's books, nor do I see any reference to the pharmaceuticals making a whole lot of money from making people sick and then trying to cure them.
Do you realize, even for a moment, that there is hope for something better. Little kids whom have drunk parents might like to wish upon a star...do you prefer to send the parents to a "real" doctor or perhaps let some new ideas shine for our next generations future??? I suppose the worst part of the little dog fight going on here, is that some of the comments made by several must have seemed clever to the one making them. I really get sick of the ones that feel smarter by acting so dumb. You are no prize, my friends.
